When we are talking about specific places such as an intersection or address, it is best practice to make a make a map and click on that location to view information about that location.

Information bubbles can contain any type of information such as text, photos, video, and illustrations. We use an application we developed to quickly plot points on a Google Map and showcase them on a website. View the website

Tracking the success of a grant-funded project is serious work. For the Illinois ResourceNetwork project, a portfolio with images was not the answer to showcasing projects. Instead, a user-friendly map-based application that allowed for text to be read over a Google map was desired.

A Google Map “mashup” application was developed to enable the communications coordinator to add projects to the map which appear on the map in real-time. Branding was also desired so that the placemarks on the map matched the project’s logo.
